About EasyDebt

Making Debt Recovery
Simple, Clear, Organised.

We are a Hong Kong Small Claims Tribunal filing support consultant. We help individuals and small businesses organise evidence, complete claim forms, and prepare hearing strategy — so you don't face debt recovery alone.

What we do

Three steps from a pile of paper to a case

The receipts and messages you already have are evidence. What is missing is order, sequence, and a version that can be explained clearly.

Step one

Sort

We go through every receipt, message thread and contract, separate what helps from what does not, and put it in order.

Step two

Assess

We tell you plainly which points hold up and which do not. If the odds are poor, we will say so and advise against filing.

Step three

Prepare

Claim form, evidence bundle and the outline of what you will say, prepared together, with the procedure and timeline explained.

Why us

Three things we say up front

If the odds are poor we will tell you not to file

If the case is weak, or what you would recover will not cover the time and cost, we will say so. One fewer case is better than sending you on a wasted trip.

Honest assessment

The tribunal is built for you to speak yourself

Section 19 of the Small Claims Tribunal Ordinance (Cap. 338) provides that a barrister or solicitor generally may not represent any party. What decides the outcome is how well prepared you are before you walk in.

Cap. 338 s.19

You speak, we prepare

You present on the day. Our job is to make sure you have the documents, know the key points, and know what happens next. We do not guarantee outcomes; we make sure you are ready.

Claim ceiling HK$75,000

What we do not do

  • Give legal advice — we are not solicitors or barristers
  • Represent you at the hearing; the tribunal requires you to speak yourself
  • Guarantee any particular outcome
  • Take claims above the HK$75,000 tribunal ceiling
  • Take non-monetary disputes, such as recovering possession of a flat
Who we are

A team that handles money disputes every day

EasyDebt is a Hong Kong filing support consultancy working solely on Small Claims Tribunal cases. What the team does each day is turn the loose pile of paperwork a client arrives with into a case that can be explained clearly and stands up under questioning — and stay with them from the first assessment through to the hearing itself.
